Crisp cottons sarees are my mother’s favourites since a long time now.

One fine day many years ago she decided that she will not wear silk sarees anymore, donated all the Kanjeevarams in her wardrobe and cottons became her staple. She has always had an envious collection of cottons. In this painting my muse (my daughter) is seen wearing one of amma’s. It feels like a warm hug!
